H.G.Wessel Buttons
Although Harry Wessel was most famous for his Watch Crystal Buttons, they
were not his first buttons.  The first one was a stainless steel button with a
sandblasted keystone on it.  It was made for his wife's (Edith) Pennsylvania
button club.  He also made cup buttons, hand-painted buttons and, in later
life, plastic topped buttons.  His buttons vary in size and price.
  Watch Crystals  With Cup Backs
Watch Crystals are used with deeper (cup) metal backs for 3-dimensional effects. The
liquid-filled buttons have items inside that will float.  Cup buttons measure 1 5/16".
